Tallawah Immigration Consulting (TIC) is a black-owned boutique Canadian immigration consultancy offering a wide range of services. The word “Tallawah” pays homage to the founder’s Jamaican roots. It is a derivative of the Arawakan language meaning “small but mighty” – and highlights our ability to accomplish our goals.

LeChelle Saunders
Founder and Lead Consultant | RCIC
LeChelle Saunders is the founder of Tallawah Immigration Consulting (TIC), a boutique firm dedicated to providing personalized and comprehensive immigration services. Combining managerial expertise, in-depth knowledge of immigration, and a genuine passion for supporting immigrant communities, LeChelle is committed to fostering equity, diversity, and inclusivity (EDI)—a cornerstone of TIC's client-centered approach.
LeChelle's contributions to sustainable ecosystems for newcomer success are evidenced by her involvement with the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) and the Canadian Association of College and University Student Services (CACUSS). She has completed studies in International Education and Immigration Consultancy, and holds a Master of Education with a focus on Student Affairs. Additionally, LeChelle is a licensed Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).
You Jia Lee

You Jia is an international education professional focusing in the areas of international student support and intercultural learning. Being an immigrant herself from Malaysia and living in Ontario, Canada, she understands the challenges of international students and newcomers adjusting to a new environment. She enjoys listening to their stories, learning about their aspirations, and navigating challenges together. With the goal of helping more immigrants through immigration consulting, she pursued further studies and graduated with a Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law at Queen’s University and received her RCIC-IRB designation in 2024. She also holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph.
